Decaf Gesha? Decaf Gesha! Yes, really.
Meet our newest decaf offering and our first alternative to Sugar Shack Decaf. While Sugar Shack is our go-to for a richer, espresso-friendly decaf, this coffee takes things in a different direction: an exceptionally sweet, floral, and fruit-forward cup that can stand toe to toe with any of our microlots.
Sourced through our friends at Osito Coffee, Huila Fortune EA Gesha brings together Gesha coffees from five producers across Huila, Colombia. José Martínez, Argemiro Hoyos, Olimpo and Gregorio Calderón, and Policarpo Yossa all contribute to this special lot, which was decaffeinated using the EA (ethyl acetate) process at Descafecol in Manizales, Colombia.
For Osito, decaf deserves the same care, attention, and quality standards as any other specialty coffee. This lot puts that philosophy into practice, starting with exceptional coffees selected from trusted producer relationships and preserving what makes them special through decaffeination.
The result is a beautifully sweet cup with notes of ripe peach, mixed flowers, and cherry. Delicate and expressive, with the kind of complexity we look for in our favorite microlots.
And no, we don't mean nice for decaf. We mean genuinely, unequivocally good coffee.
